With the current attack and defence scatter plot looking a bit of a mess:
I’ve decided to break it up highlighting each team showing their week by week performance as a gif for your viewing pleasure. The vertical and horizontal black lines show the league average for attack and defence.

Movers and Losers:
Having played 7 games now most teams are circling their current level of performance, but there are two teams who have caught the eye – for different reasons – in recent weeks. Hull City have rapidly regressed after a good showing in their first couple of games. They have plummeted in bothe the attack and defence ratings. The big surprise heading in the opposite direction are Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace. After securing the services of Christian Benteke (3 goals in 5 games) – who headed home the winner in Palace’s 3-2 comeback against Sunderland – and putting in some respectable defensive performances, Palace look to have solidified their position as top half finishers. They are currently playing better than average in attack and defence.
